The VGP series lever block is a manual lifting device designed for heavy lifting tasks, with super strong load-bearing and extreme environmental adaptability. The rated lifting capacity covers 5 tons to 15 tons, and the safety factor is above 5.0. Compared with the VP series, it has been comprehensively upgraded in terms of structural strength, braking performance and environmental tolerance. The weight is 15%-20% higher than the VP series with the same load, and the load-bearing capacity is increased by 50%-80%, which is suitable for long-distance, heavy-load lifting and traction operations. Super strong load-bearing capacity, can cope with heavy loads. The lifting chain is made of top-grade alloy structural steel (such as 30CrNiMo8), and its diameter is 25%-30% thicker than the VP series with the same load (10-ton VP chain has a diameter of 12mm, while VGP is 15mm), with a tensile strength of ≥1200MPa, which greatly improves the load-bearing capacity. The gear set is made of 25CrNiMoV, and the tooth surface is deeply carburized and quenched, with a hardness of HRC60-63, which can withstand extremely large torque and has a 60% longer life than the VP series gears, making it suitable for frequent lifting of objects weighing more than 10 tons.
Heavy-duty handle, efficient operation. The handle is made of solid alloy steel, which is 20% heavier than the VP series, but 40% stronger, and the length is extended to 600-800mm. The operating force is 15%-20% higher than the VP series (10-ton VP requires 120-150N, VGP is 140-180N), but the lifting amount per single pull is increased to 5-7mm, which is more efficient in heavy-load and long-distance operations. The handle grip is made of oversized non-slip rubber material, and the friction coefficient is 25% higher than the VP series. It is suitable for multi-person collaborative operation and can effectively disperse hand pressure.
Top-level braking, safe and worry-free. Equipped with a triple braking system (ratchet brake + double friction plate brake), the braking torque is 50%-60% higher than the VP series, and the braking response time is ≤0.06 seconds, which is faster than the VP series. The brake pads are made of nano-ceramic composite materials, which are resistant to high temperatures of 300°C. After continuous lifting (10 tons of cargo are lifted continuously for 30 times), the braking performance decay is ≤3%, which is much better than the 5% of the VP series. The braking is extremely reliable under overload conditions.
Extreme adaptability, tolerance to harsh conditions. The shell is made of high-strength alloy cast steel (ZG310-570), which is 25%-35% heavier than the VP series cast steel shell, but the impact resistance is improved by 60%, and it can withstand strong equipment collisions and heavy object impacts. The chain surface adopts triple protection of phosphating + galvanizing + painting, and the salt spray corrosion resistance is up to 1200 hours, which is significantly higher than the 800 hours of the VP series. It can adapt to extreme environments such as high temperature, low temperature, high humidity, and high salt spray. The price is 30%-40% higher than the VP series with the same load.
Heavy Metallurgy and Heavy Industry Manufacturing. Lifting steel billets (8-15 tons) in metallurgical workshops. The VGP series's superb load-bearing capacity and high-temperature resistance adapt to the high-temperature environment of the workshop, and it can cope with the lifting of heavy billets better than the VP series. In heavy machinery manufacturing, installing large machine tool beds (10-15 tons), the top-level braking system ensures that the bed is stably suspended during installation, improves installation accuracy, and shortens the installation time of each machine tool by 1-2 hours.
Large-scale Engineering and Infrastructure Construction. In large-scale bridge construction, lifting prefabricated beam sections (10-15 tons), the VGP series' high-strength chain and braking system can ensure the safety of the beam sections during high-altitude transportation and installation, and is more suitable for such ultra-heavy lifting operations than the VP series. In water conservancy projects, installing gate components (8-12 tons), its excellent corrosion resistance in underwater or humid environments ensures long-term stable operation of the equipment.
Heavy Ships and Marine Engineering. When building large ships, the hull sections (10-15 tons) are hoisted. The salt spray resistance of the VGP series adapts to the marine environment, and the super-strong load-bearing capacity meets the lifting requirements of heavy parts of the hull. When repairing offshore platforms, large drilling equipment parts (8-15 tons) are fixed. In extreme weather and marine environments, the equipment has stable performance and can cope with the harsh working conditions of marine engineering better than the VP series.
Q1: How to choose between VGP series and VP series?
A: If the operation is mainly super heavy load (more than 8 tons) and extreme environment, and top braking reliability and structural strength are required, choose VGP series; if it is mainly medium and heavy load (5-8 tons) and harsh environment, VP series is more cost-effective. VGP series is irreplaceable in heavy lifting and extreme environment operations, while VP series is more economical and practical in medium and heavy load operations.
Q3: What should I do if the VGP series chain is severely worn?
A: When the chain link diameter wears more than 10% or cracks appear, the chain must be replaced immediately and it is strictly forbidden to continue using it. When replacing the chain, you must use the original high-strength chain of the same specification, and you must not use other models or inferior chains instead. After replacement, a comprehensive load test (loading 1.2 times the rated load) is required to ensure that the chain matches the equipment well and can be put into use only if there is no abnormality.
Q3: What should I pay attention to when using the VGP series in a low temperature environment (below -20℃)?
A: Before using in a low temperature environment, the lever hoist needs to be preheated at room temperature for more than 30 minutes to avoid embrittlement of components caused by low temperature. During operation, the handle should be moved more slowly than at normal temperature to reduce the impact on components. During maintenance, special low-temperature gear oil and grease must be used to prevent the oil from solidifying and affecting transmission and lubrication. When storing, the equipment needs to be placed in a warm and dry place to avoid long-term exposure to low temperature environments.
