The VP series lever block is a manual lifting device with high strength and wide adaptability for medium-sized lifting tasks. Strengthen load-bearing capacity, suitable for medium loads. The lifting chain is made of high-strength alloy structural steel (such as 20CrMnMo), with a diameter 20%-30% thicker than the VL series with the same load (5-ton VL chain diameter is 8mm, VP is 10mm), tensile strength ≥1100MPa, and load-bearing capacity is significantly improved. The gear set is made of 20CrNi2Mo material, and the tooth surface is carburized and quenched, with a hardness of HRC58-62, which can withstand greater torque and extend the life of VL series gears by 50%, suitable for frequent lifting of objects over 5 tons.
Handle optimization, labor-saving and long-lasting. The handle adopts a hollow tubular design, which is 5% lighter than the VL series, but 20% stronger, and the length is extended to 500-700mm. The operating force is 10%-15% higher than the VL series (5-ton VL requires 90-110N, VP is 100-125N), but the lifting amount per single pull is increased to 4-6mm, which is more efficient in medium-distance operations. The handle grip is made of non-slip rubber material, and the friction coefficient is 30% higher than the VL series. It is not easy to slip during long-term operation and is suitable for operations lasting more than 30 minutes.
Heavy-duty braking, safety upgrade. Equipped with a dual braking system (ratchet brake + friction plate brake), the braking torque is 40%-50% higher than the VL series, and the braking response time is ≤0.08 seconds, which is faster than the VL series. The brake pads are made of highly wear-resistant ceramic composite materials, which are resistant to high temperatures of up to 250°C. After continuous lifting (5 tons of cargo are lifted continuously for 20 times), the braking performance decay is ≤5%, which is much better than the 10% of the VL series, and the braking is more reliable under heavy loads.
Wide-range adaptability and environmental tolerance. The shell is made of cast steel (ZG230-450), which is 30%-40% heavier than the VL series aluminum alloy shell, but the impact resistance is improved by 80%, and it can withstand accidents such as equipment collisions. The chain surface adopts phosphating + galvanizing double-layer protection, which is resistant to salt spray corrosion for 800 hours, which is significantly higher than the 500 hours of the VL series. It is suitable for more severe environments such as humidity, dust, and salt spray, and the price is 25%-35% higher than the VL series with the same load.
Heavy power and mining operations. During underground mine maintenance, small motors (3-8 tons) are hoisted. The VP series' enhanced load-bearing capacity and impact-resistant shell adapt to the harsh environment underground and can cope with heavy impact better than the VL series. When erecting high-voltage transmission lines, steel-core aluminum stranded wires (5-10 tons) are tightened. The dual brake system ensures that the cable does not slip during the tensioning process, improving the erection efficiency. The cable tensioning operation of 2-3 towers can be completed per hour.
Installation of large buildings and steel structures. When installing steel structure workshops, steel beams (5-10 tons) are hoisted and adjusted. The handle operation of the VP series can achieve fine-tuning of the steel beams. The load-bearing capacity meets the lifting requirements of medium-sized steel beams, and is more suitable for such medium-sized lifting operations than the VL series. Bridge support installation, hoisting and fixing the support (3-6 tons), in the complex environment of the bridge construction site, its weather resistance and safety are more guaranteed.
Heavy-duty vehicle and ship maintenance. When repairing heavy trucks, the gearbox (4-8 tons) is hoisted. The high-strength chain and brake system of the VP series ensure that the gearbox is stably suspended during the repair process. It is more suitable for lifting heavy vehicle parts than the VL series. Repair in the ship's engine room, fix large pipelines (5-8 tons), salt spray resistance adapts to the humid environment of the engine room, and the compact structure (relative to other heavy equipment with the same load) can be operated in the small space of the engine room.
Q1: How to choose between VP series and VL series?
A: If the operation is mainly medium-heavy load (more than 3 tons) and harsh environment, and higher braking reliability and structural strength are required, choose VP series; if it is mainly light load (less than 3 tons) and conventional environment, and the weight and operation flexibility of the equipment are emphasized, choose VL series. VP series has more advantages in medium-duty lifting and harsh environment operations, while VL series is more suitable for light and delicate operations.
Q3: What should I do if the VP series chain is stuck?
A: Stop the operation immediately and check whether there is foreign matter entangled in the chain or the chain link is deformed. If there is foreign matter, clean it carefully; if the chain link is deformed, try to correct it with special tools. After correction, load test (load 1.1 times the rated load) is required. It can be used again only if there is no abnormality. If the jamming is caused by a gearbox failure, the gearbox needs to be disassembled to check the gear meshing condition. If necessary, replace the gear. It is strictly forbidden to forcibly pull the handle to avoid damaging the equipment.
Q3: How to extend the service life of VP series lever hoists?
A: Avoid overloading, and the lifting weight should not exceed 90% of the rated load; keep the handle evenly during operation to reduce the impact of gears and chains; perform regular maintenance and replace worn parts (such as brake pads, gear oil) in time; keep it dry and ventilated during storage, apply anti-rust oil to the chain, and avoid collision with the shell.
