DIN764 standard chain is a round steel chain built according to the German DIN764 standard. It is widely used in conveyor systems, such as water pump lifting chain scenes. It realizes power transmission through sprocket drive, drives the water pump to rotate, and completes the lifting and transportation of water. Its rated working load depends on the specific specifications, and the safety factor is not less than 4.0. Precise size and strong adaptability. Strictly follow the DIN764 standard production, the chain ring diameter is commonly 5-12mm, the pitch is 15-30mm, and the dimensional tolerance is controlled at ±0.2mm (common conveyor chain ±0.5mm). Taking the 8mm diameter chain as an example, the ring length is 18mm, the ring width is 12mm, and the aspect ratio is 1.8. It can accurately mesh with various standard sprockets. The beating amplitude during transmission is ≤0.8mm. It is suitable for conveyor equipment of different brands, reducing the difficulty of installation and debugging and improving the stability of equipment operation. The welding process adopts resistance butt welding (carbon steel) or argon arc welding (stainless steel), and the weld is smooth (height ≤0.4mm), which ensures the connection strength and surface flatness of the chain ring and reduces scratches on the conveyed items.
Various materials, environmental adaptability. The stainless steel model (1.4301) contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel, and has excellent corrosion resistance. It is suitable for food and beverage production lines (contact with water, acid and alkali detergents), chemical raw material transportation and other corrosive environments, and meets food hygiene and safety standards. The carbon steel model (C22) is quenched and tempered, with a tensile strength of 400-600MPa. It is cost-effective in dry rooms, ordinary industrial plants and other environments, and the cost is 50%-60% of the stainless steel model. Both materials have passed the DIN standard bending test (180° bending without cracks) and tensile test (yield strength ≥250MPa).
Smooth transmission, high efficiency and energy saving. The chain ring adopts a "smooth inside and outside" design, and the contact area with the sprocket is increased by 25% compared with ordinary chains, and the transmission efficiency is as high as 94% (about 90% of ordinary conveyor chains). In the logistics sorting conveyor line, the 10mm diameter DIN764 chain drives the conveyor belt, and the speed fluctuation is controlled within ±1.5%, ensuring accurate sorting of goods and reducing the misdelivery rate of goods by 30%. Food and Beverage Production. The filling conveying line of beverage bottles uses 8mm diameter stainless steel chains, which have a smooth surface without scale accumulation, can withstand 80℃ hot water cleaning and disinfection, and run 18 hours a day to ensure efficient and hygienic conveying of beverage bottles. The conveying error of each bottle of beverage is ≤3mm, ensuring the filling accuracy. The bread conveying and cooling line in the food baking workshop uses a chain to drive the baking tray to move at a constant speed. Q3: Can the carbon steel model be used in a seaside environment?
A: The seaside environment is highly corrosive. Although the carbon steel model is galvanized, it is still easy to rust after long-term use. If it needs to be used at the seaside, it is recommended to use a stainless steel model; if a carbon steel model is used, the maintenance frequency needs to be increased, the galvanized layer needs to be checked monthly, the salt needs to be rinsed off with fresh water every week, and a high-corrosion-resistant grease needs to be applied.
