As a high-end lifting accessory, the G100 lifting chain has a breaking strength of 100 and can withstand extremely high tensile forces, far exceeding ordinary chains. The rated load range is 2-20 tons, and the safety factor is ≥5.0. The chain is made of special alloy steel and has undergone advanced heat treatment technology. It has excellent toughness and fatigue resistance. Even in harsh environments (such as low temperatures of -40°C or high temperatures of 150°C), the performance remains stable. The G100 chain has strong versatility and can be used with a variety of rigging such as hooks and rings. It is widely used in mining, port loading and unloading, heavy machinery manufacturing and other fields, providing reliable load-bearing and connection functions in various complex lifting operations.

High-strength material, extreme load-bearing: The chain ring is forged with special alloy steel, with a Rockwell hardness of HRC48-52, a tensile strength of ≥1000MPa, and a breaking load of more than 5 times the rated load (e.g., a 10-ton chain has a breaking load of ≥50 tons). After 100,000 fatigue tests (load is 80% of the rated value), there is no crack, and it can withstand the impact load of frequent lifting, suitable for high-intensity operations of more than 30 liftings per day.
Flexible adaptation, diverse scenarios: The standard chain ring specifications are 8-22mm (diameter), which can be combined into 1-50 meters in length through quick connection buckles (connection completed within 30 seconds), suitable for different lifting heights and workpiece sizes. The chain rings rotate flexibly (no jamming), can wrap around irregular-shaped workpieces (such as round tanks, special-shaped mechanical parts), and achieve stable lifting at multiple angles.
Weather resistance, environmental compatibility: The surface is treated with double layers of phosphating + galvanizing (zinc layer thickness ≥ 85μm), neutral salt spray test resistance ≥ 1000 hours, and can be used for a long time in humid, dusty, and mildly corrosive environments. The special high-temperature chain (optional) uses a heat-resistant alloy, and the tensile strength retention rate is ≥ 90% at 150°C, which is suitable for high-temperature scenes such as billet lifting in metallurgical plants.
Long-life design, cost controllable: The chain ring adopts an arc transition structure (stress concentration factor ≤ 1.2), and the fatigue resistance is 50% higher than that of ordinary chains. Under normal maintenance, the service life can reach more than 10 years. Although the initial purchase cost is higher than that of ordinary chains, the average annual maintenance cost is only 60% of similar products (once a year for flaw detection + quarterly lubrication), and the long-term cost performance is outstanding.
Mining: used for lifting ore buckets (3-8 tons) in underground or open-pit mines. The chain is wear-resistant (annual wear rate ≤0.01mm) and impact-resistant, and can adapt to the working conditions of dusty mines and frequent material collisions. With mining hooks, it can realize efficient transfer of ore from the mining point to the transportation equipment, and complete 15-20 lifting cycles per hour.
Port and logistics loading and unloading: adapted to container hoists to lift 8-15 tons of containers. The high strength characteristics of the chain ensure stability during ship shaking and rapid lifting. A single chain can support more than 50 loading and unloading operations per day. At bulk cargo terminals, it is used to bundle bulk goods such as steel and wood, and flexibly adjust the bundling position to ensure lifting balance.
Heavy machinery manufacturing: In the assembly of construction machinery, large components such as excavator slewing platforms (15 tons) and loader arms (10 tons) are lifted. Multiple sets of chains can be used together to achieve precise positioning of complex angles (deviation ≤5mm). When installing wind power equipment, the tower (10-18 tons) is hoisted, and the chain link is in flexible contact to avoid damaging the tower surface.
Metallurgy and high temperature operation: The metallurgical plant hoists 800-1200℃ steel billets (10-20 tons). The high temperature chain has stable performance under continuous high temperature radiation. It is used with high temperature resistant hoists to realize the transfer of steel billets from the furnace to the rolling mill. The hoisting time of each batch is controlled within 3-5 minutes.
Q1: How to determine the length of the chain?
A: Select according to the lifting height + 20%-30% margin. For example, if the lifting height is 10 meters, it is recommended to use a 12-13 meter chain to reserve adjustment space. Insufficient length will limit the operating range, and too long will easily cause knots during lifting (especially when the single length exceeds 20 meters). It needs to be used with a chain guide device.
Q3: How to distinguish chains with different loads?
A: Distinguish by chain ring diameter and logo: 2-5 ton chain diameter is 8-12mm, 5-10 tons is 12-16mm, and 10-20 tons is 16-22mm. The chain surface is printed with "G100" and rated load (such as "10T"), and the actual lifting weight must be matched when purchasing (it is recommended to select 1.2 times the maximum load).
Q3: Will partial rust on the chain affect its use?
A: Slightly floating rust (no rust pits) can be cleaned with a rust remover and then continued to be used; if rust pits (depth ≥ 0.5mm) or large-scale peeling of the chain link surface occurs, the strength will drop by more than 30%, and it must be replaced immediately. Keeping it dry during daily storage and applying oil regularly can effectively prevent rust.
Q3: Can it be used in acidic and alkaline environments?
A: Ordinary G100 chains are only suitable for mildly corrosive environments. Special anti-corrosion models (surface coated with polytetrafluoroethylene) are required for strong acid (pH ≤ 3) and strong alkaline (pH ≥ 12) environments. Its acid and alkali resistance is 5 times higher than that of ordinary models. It can be used in chemical workshops and other scenes, but the coating integrity needs to be checked monthly.
