The TPH tube-to-sheet clamp is a multifunctional lifting tool that has both tube and plate lifting functions. It has a rated lifting capacity of 3-10 tons and a safety factor of more than 4.0. It can be used for steel pipes and round tubes with a diameter of 50-300mm and plates with a thickness of 8-50mm. Compared with the single horizontal plate lifting of the LC horizontal plate clamp, the TPH series achieves the dual modes of "tube hugging + plate flat clamping" through a switchable clamping module, and the conversion time is ≤2 minutes (no tools required). Dual-mode clamping, dual-purpose machine. Equipped with replaceable clamping modules: the pipe module is an arc-shaped embracing structure (lined with rubber anti-slip layer), suitable for 50-300mm round pipes, and the embracing angle is 120° (contact area ≥300cm²); the plate module is a flat clamping structure (same as the dual-drive principle of LC), suitable for 8-50mm plates. The module is fixed by a quick-release buckle, and no tools are required for switching. It saves 60% of the equipment cost compared to the separate configuration of LC (plate) + pipe clamp (pipe), which is suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Lightweight design, flexible operation. The main body adopts an optimized mechanical structure, the weight of the 8-ton class is 16kg (LC 8-ton class is 18kg), and one person can carry and replace the module; the clamping height is ≤180mm (LC is 200mm), which is more flexible in narrow spaces with dense pipes (such as underground pipe corridors), while LC is difficult to move in confined spaces due to its heavy structure.
Applicability range, focusing on medium-sized. The maximum diameter of the pipe clamp is 300mm (far exceeding the plate adaptation of LC), but the upper limit of the plate thickness is 50mm (LC is 80mm), and the rated lifting capacity is 3-10 tons (LC is 5-15 tons), which is more suitable for medium-sized pipe and plate mixed operation scenarios. For example, in municipal engineering, 200mm diameter steel pipes and 30mm thick steel plates are hoisted at the same time. TPH can be completed by one machine, while LC needs to be used with pipe clamps.
Balanced protection, cost optimization. The main body is galvanized + painted, resistant to salt spray for 500 hours (LC is 800 hours), suitable for general outdoor environments; the hardness of the rubber layer of the pipe module is 50 Shore A (anti-scratch), and the hardness of the plate module liner is 70 Shore A (wear-resistant). The price is 15%-20% lower than the LC with the same load, and 40% lower than the "LC + pipe clamp" combination.
Pipeline engineering and installation. Municipal water supply pipeline laying, lifting 150-200mm diameter steel pipes (5-8 tons), TPH pipe module embracing clamping to prevent the pipe body from rolling, switching to the plate module to lift the pipe support steel plate (8-12mm), reducing equipment replacement time, and the construction efficiency is 30% higher than "LC + pipe clamp"; oil pipeline prefabrication plant, simultaneously processing seamless steel pipes (200mm diameter) and flange steel plates (20mm thick), dual-mode adaptation to improve the flow speed of the production line.
Municipal and construction miscellaneous. Installation of urban sewage treatment plants, lifting DN200 sewage steel pipes (6-8 tons) and sedimentation tank steel plates (30mm thick), TPH can move flexibly in narrow plant areas without the need to frequently carry different clamps; building scaffolding, lifting steel pipes (φ48mm) and scaffolding boards (50mm thick wooden boards) at the same time, lightweight design reduces the labor intensity of workers.
Small and medium-sized manufacturing. The mechanical processing plant simultaneously transports steel pipes (100mm diameter) for machine tools and workbench steel plates (20mm thick). TPH saves equipment storage space (50% less space than two sets of equipment); the door and window processing plant lifts aluminum alloy profiles (round tubes) and installation steel plates, and the rubber layer protects the profile surface from scratches (LC metal gaskets may be damaged).
Q1: How to choose between horizontal plate clamps and LC?
A: For mixed operation of medium-sized pipes + plates, choose TPH; for single operation of heavy thick plates (>50mm), choose LC. For example: municipal engineering teams (multi-category medium loads) use TPH, and heavy shipyards (mainly thick plates) use LC.
Q3: What should be paid attention to when switching modules?
A: Make sure that the module clip is completely inserted into the positioning slot (hear a "click"), and shake it by hand to check if it is loose; different loads require corresponding modules (such as 8-ton TPH pipe modules cannot be used for 10-ton loads); clean the clip contact surface after long-term use (to avoid locking failure caused by debris).
Q3: Can pipes with coatings on the surface be lifted?
A: Yes. The rubber layer of the pipe module (hardness 50 Shore A) can protect the coating (such as anti-corrosion steel pipes), the embracing clamping force is evenly distributed, and the coating shedding rate is ≤2% (special pipe clamps are about 1%, but the function is single). Before lifting, sharp debris on the pipe surface must be cleaned to avoid puncturing the rubber layer.
