CD vertical plate clamp is a professional clamping tool designed for vertical lifting of various types of plates. It is suitable for steel plates, aluminum plates, wood plates and other materials. The clamping thickness range is usually 5-50mm. Its design load capacity ranges from 1 ton to 10 tons, and the safety factor reaches more than 3.0. Compared with other types of plate clamps, CD vertical plate clamp has a compact structure, small size, and is 10%-15% lighter than similar products, which is convenient for flexible handling and installation at the construction site. It is mainly composed of high-strength alloy steel clamp body, non-slip clamp teeth, adjustment screws and safety locks. It is easy to operate and can clamp plates quickly and firmly. It is widely used in construction, metal processing, logistics and warehousing and other industries to meet the efficient and safe needs of vertical lifting of plates.

High-strength clamping, suitable for a variety of plates. The main body of the clamp is made of high-quality high-strength alloy steel (such as 40Cr), and after quenching and tempering, the hardness reaches HRC40-45, ensuring that the clamp does not deform when subjected to high loads. The surface of the clamp teeth is specially heat-treated, with a hardness of up to HRC55-60, and is designed with unique anti-slip patterns. The friction force when in contact with the plate is 20% higher than that of ordinary clamp teeth, and can firmly clamp plates of different materials. Whether it is an aluminum plate with a smooth surface or a steel plate with a certain degree of roughness, it can be lifted stably and can adapt to the CD-Vertical Plate Clampworking environment temperature of -20℃ to 60℃.
Convenient adjustment, fast clamping. The adjustment screw adopts a trapezoidal thread design, and the pitch is optimized. One turn can change the opening and closing distance of the clamp by 4-6mm, and the adjustment speed is 30% faster than that of ordinary threads. The operator only needs to simply rotate the adjustment screw with a wrench to quickly adjust the size of the clamp to adapt to plates of different thicknesses. From no-load to clamping a 20mm thick steel plate, it takes no more than 30 seconds for a skilled worker to operate, which greatly improves work efficiency.
Safety lock, double insurance. Equipped with an independent safety lock device, after the clamp clamps the plate, the lock automatically falls and locks the clamp handle to prevent the handle from accidentally loosening and causing the plate to slip. The lock adopts a spring-loaded structure, and the lock force can reach 100-150N. It needs to manually press the unlock button to open, and the probability of misoperation is extremely low. At the same time, the clamp is designed with an overload protection structure inside. When the lifting weight exceeds 1.2 times the rated load, the clamp will automatically release to avoid safety accidents caused by overload.
Compact design, light and portable. The overall structure has been optimized, and the length and width are reduced by 15% and 10% respectively compared with traditional plate clamps of the same specification. Taking the 5-ton CD vertical plate clamp as an example, its length is 350mm, width is 200mm, and weight is only 15kg, which is convenient for single person to carry and operate. Its compact and lightweight features are an obvious advantage in construction sites with limited space, such as narrow workshop aisles or small balconies on high-rise buildings. It can be operated flexibly and its price is 15%-20% lower than traditional plate clamps of the same load.
Construction: In high-rise building construction, the CD vertical plate clamp's quick clamping and safety lock function ensure the stability of the plate during high-altitude lifting. It can complete 8-10 lifting operations per hour, which is 25% more efficient than other complex lifting methods. When installing the steel beam connection node plate of a steel structure building, its compact design facilitates operation in the narrow gap between the steel beams, accurately clamps the plate for welding and installation, and improves construction accuracy.
Metal Processing: In metal processing plants, steel plates are hoisted for cutting, stamping and other processing procedures (3-8 tons of steel plates). The CD vertical plate clamp can adapt to steel plates with different surface conditions to prevent the plate from shaking during the lifting process from affecting the processing accuracy. When processing steel plates in batches, the quick-adjusting clamp can quickly switch the lifting of steel plates of different thicknesses, and 20-30 more batches of steel plates can be lifted every day, improving production efficiency.
Logistics and warehousing: In logistics warehouses, aluminum plates, wood plates and other lightweight plates (1-5 tons) are handled and stacked. Their lightness and portability make it easier for warehouse workers to operate and reduce labor intensity. When used with a forklift or a crane, the plates can be quickly loaded, unloaded and stacked. The hourly loading and unloading volume is 5-8 times higher than manual handling, optimizing the logistics and warehousing operation process.
Q1: Can the CD vertical plate clamp clamp a steel plate with rust on the surface?
A: Yes, but the surface of the steel plate needs to be simply cleaned first to remove the floating rust and large rust blocks to prevent the rust residue from affecting the friction between the clamp teeth and the steel plate. At the same time, the clamping state of the clamp should be closely observed during the lifting process, and the rust residue remaining on the clamp should be cleaned in time after the lifting is completed to prevent rust from corroding the clamp. For steel plates with severe rust and uneven surfaces, it is not recommended to use the CD vertical plate clamp to avoid affecting the clamping effect and safety.
Q3: What should I do if the adjustment screw of the clamp is difficult to turn?
A: There may be impurities or insufficient lubrication on the thread. Stop using it first, clean the impurities on the thread, and then apply an appropriate amount of grease, such as molybdenum disulfide grease. If it is still difficult to turn, check whether the screw is deformed. If it is deformed, replace the screw in time. In daily maintenance, regular lubrication and cleaning of the adjustment screw can effectively avoid such problems.
Q3: What is the service life of the CD vertical plate clamp?
A: Under normal use and proper maintenance, the service life of CD vertical plate clamps can reach 5-8 years. Its service life is mainly affected by the lifting frequency, the weight of the lifting plate, the working environment and the maintenance. Frequent lifting of heavy objects close to the rated load or use in harsh environments (such as high temperature, high humidity, strong corrosion) will shorten its service life. Strictly following the operating specifications and doing regular maintenance can effectively extend the service life of the clamp.
