DIN741 Wire Rope Clips are wire rope connection and fixing accessories produced according to the German DIN741 standard. They are composed of U-bolts, clamps (saddles) and nuts. The two ends or rope ends of the wire rope are fixed by clamping force to form a firm rope loop to prevent the rope from slipping. Strict standards and high precision: Strictly follow the DIN741 standard, the U-bolt size, the arc of the clamp seat and the diameter of the wire rope are precisely matched to ensure uniform force after clamping, no rope damage caused by local extrusion, and the connection reliability is much higher than non-standard parts.
Material corrosion resistance and wide adaptability: After galvanizing, carbon steel is rust-proof and durable in dry and slightly humid environments, with outstanding cost performance; 304 stainless steel is resistant to atmospheric corrosion and suitable for outdoor buildings; 316 stainless steel contains molybdenum elements and has excellent salt spray resistance, and can be used for a long time in seawater and chemical environments.
Strong structural design: The U-bolt and the clamp seat form an embracing clamping, with a large contact area and strong friction. It can withstand several tons of tension (such as M20 specifications can carry 20 tons), and it is not easy to loosen in heavy lifting, far exceeding the fixing capacity of ordinary rope clamps.
Convenient installation and easy operation: No special tools are required, and the nuts can be fixed by manually tightening them, and they can be reused (after checking that there is no deformation), suitable for quick installation and adjustment on site, and improve work efficiency.
Safety details: Rope protection: The curved inner side of the clamp seat fits the surface of the wire rope to avoid wire breakage caused by sharp contact; the edge is rounded to prevent scratches on the rope or operators during installation.
Industrial lifting and hoisting: connecting the crane hook and wire rope in the factory workshop, fixing the hoisting rope ring of heavy equipment (such as machine tools and molds), ensuring that the rope does not slip during the lifting process, suitable for 10-50 ton lifting operations.

Q1: How to determine the number of rope clamps and the installation direction?
A: According to the diameter of the wire rope, use 2 for diameter ≤10mm, 3 for 10-20mm, and 1 more for every 10mm above 20mm; when installing, the clamp seat should face the side of the main rope (the force-bearing end), and the U-shaped bolt should buckle the rope head to avoid insufficient clamping force caused by the reverse direction of the clamp seat.
Q3: How to control the tightening degree?
A: It is advisable to flatten the wire rope by 1/3 (such as 12mm rope flattened to 8mm). Too loose will cause sliding, and too tight will damage the wire; after the first tightening, it needs to be tightened again after 1-2 times of force to compensate for the looseness caused by the elastic deformation of the wire rope.
Q3: What parts need to be checked before repeated use?
A: Check whether the U-shaped bolt is deformed, whether the thread is intact, whether the clamp seat is cracked or worn, and whether the galvanized layer falls off (carbon steel model). If there is deformation or damage, it must be replaced and cannot be used anymore.
Q3: How to choose between 316 stainless steel and carbon steel?
A: Choose carbon steel galvanized type (low cost) for dry workshops and inland buildings; choose 316 stainless steel type (corrosion-resistant, with a lifespan of more than 5 times that of carbon steel) for seaside, chemical plants, and humid outdoor areas to avoid a decrease in clamping force due to rust.
Q5: Can it be used for synthetic fiber ropes?
A: Not recommended. The hardness of synthetic fiber ropes is lower than that of steel wire ropes, and the clamping force of DIN741 rope clamps may cause fiber breakage. Soft rope clamps designed specifically for synthetic ropes need to be selected.
