Polyester and Polypropylene Mixed Rope is a composite rope that combines the advantages of two synthetic fibers. It uses polyester fiber to provide high strength, low elasticity and weather resistance, while adding polypropylene fiber to reduce weight, enhance buoyancy and reduce costs. This hybrid design allows the rope to have both the durability and UV resistance of polyester and the lightness and waterproof properties of polypropylene. It is suitable for a variety of scenarios that require a balance of strength, economy and functionality, such as water operations, agricultural lashing and industrial temporary fixation.

High Strength & Moderate Elasticity: Polyester provides stable load capacity, and polypropylene reduces weight.
Partially Floating: Polypropylene fibers allow the rope to partially float in water (buoyancy depends on the mixing ratio).
Weather and Corrosion Resistant: Polyester's UV resistance + polypropylene's chemical resistance, suitable for outdoor or humid environments.
Economical and Practical: Cheaper than pure polyester rope, more durable than pure polypropylene rope.
Flexible and Easy to Operate: The mixed fiber structure maintains good flexibility and knotting convenience.
Water and Fisheries: buoy fixation, small ship mooring (mixing ratio needs to be selected according to buoyancy requirements).

Q1: How buoyant is the hybrid rope? Can it float completely?
A: The buoyancy depends on the polypropylene content (e.g. 70% polypropylene + 30% polyester can be close to full buoyancy), and the ratio needs to be selected according to needs.
Q3: Compared with pure polyester rope, how is the life of the hybrid rope?
A: The life is between the two. Polyester improves durability, but the polypropylene part may age first. It is recommended to avoid long-term exposure.
Q3: Is it suitable for mountaineering or high-altitude operations?
A: Not recommended! The strength of the hybrid rope is lower than that of professional mountaineering ropes and is limited to light non-life safety uses.
Q3: How to determine the mixing ratio? **
A: Usually confirmed by product labels or manufacturer instructions, high polypropylene ropes are lighter/cheaper, and high polyester ropes are stronger.
Q3: What should I pay attention to during maintenance?
A: Rinse with clean water and dry in the shade, away from sharp objects; if the proportion of polypropylene is high, check for signs of aging (hardening, fading) more frequently.
