Standard Duty Ratchet Tie Down is a light to medium load tie-down tool, consisting of high-strength polyester webbing, ratchet tightening device and hook. It is suitable for temporary fixation in daily cargo transportation. It uses a ratchet mechanism to achieve quick tightening and locking, which is labor-saving to operate. The webbing is soft and wear-resistant, and can fit the surface of the cargo to prevent sliding. It is widely used in scenes such as automobile transportation, logistics packaging, outdoor camping, etc., for fixing luggage, furniture, small equipment, etc. It is an efficient tie-down tool to replace ropes, combining safety and convenience.
Stock No. | Material | Working Load | Accessory | Color | Breaking Load | Size | Length |
HS5020101 | Polyester | 400KG | PE coated steel S hook | Blue | 800KG | 1'' | 2M |
HS5020102 | Polyester | 400KG | PE coated steel S hook | Blue | 800KG | 1'' | 3M |
HS5020103 | Polyester | 400KG | PE coated steel S hook | Blue | 800KG | 1'' | 5M |
Convenient and efficient operation: The ratchet device design makes tightening effortless. You only need to reciprocate the ratchet handle to quickly tighten the webbing. After locking, it is not easy to loosen. Compared with manual knotting, it saves more than 50% of time and is suitable for high-frequency bundling operations.
Moderate strength and safety guarantee: The breaking strength of the polyester webbing matches the standard load requirements, and is equipped with a safety locking function (ratchet self-locking design) to prevent accidental loosening due to bumps during transportation. The webbing is flexible and will not scratch the surface of the goods.
Lightweight and portability: The overall weight is light (usually 1-3kg per strip), the length can be customized (2-10 meters), and it can be folded or rolled up when stored, which does not take up too much space. It is suitable for private cars, small trucks and other means of transportation.
Strong versatility: The hooks at both ends (usually S hooks or hooks) can be adapted to a variety of fixed points (such as truck guardrails, trailer hooks), and the webbing width is moderate (25-50mm), which can balance the bundling strength and cargo protection.
Weather resistance and economy: The webbing has good UV resistance and water resistance, and is not easily aged by moisture or sunlight; the manufacturing cost is low, and the cost performance is higher than that of heavy-duty binding tools, making it suitable for daily use by individuals or small businesses.
Car and trailer transportation: Fix luggage, bicycles, surfboards, etc. on the roof rack, or furniture and home appliances in a small trailer to prevent shaking and falling during driving, suitable for family self-driving tours, moving and other scenarios.
Logistics and express packaging: Bundle cartons, parcels, and barreled goods in small trucks and tricycles. The soft webbing can avoid crushing the packaging, and the ratchet tightens to ensure that the goods are compactly stacked to reduce transportation losses.
Outdoor and camping: Fix tent stands, camping equipment, or fix outdoor supplies (such as generators and fishing gear) in the pickup truck bed. The weather resistance can cope with outdoor wind and rain environments.
Small equipment fixing: Temporarily fix small machine tools and tool racks in workshops and warehouses to prevent displacement; or use them for exhibition venue layout, fix display boards, stage equipment, etc.
Agriculture and gardening: Transport fertilizer bags, farm tools, saplings, etc. The webbing is resistant to slight corrosion (avoid long-term contact with pesticides), and its lightness is suitable for agricultural tricycles and tractors.
Q1: When the webbing is slightly loose during bundling, do you need to tighten it again?
A: Yes. The vibration during transportation may cause the webbing to gradually loosen. If you find it loose, you should stop the car and turn the ratchet to tighten it again, otherwise the goods may shift and increase the risk of falling.
Q3: The hook cannot fasten the fixed point. Can the rope be used to assist in the connection?
A: Not recommended. Non-dedicated connections will reduce the overall strength, and the rope is easy to slip, which may cause the bundling to fail. You should choose an appropriate hook (such as replacing a lock hook or an extension chain), or ensure that the fixed point matches the hook size.
Q3: If the webbing is stained with oil or dirt, how to clean and maintain it?
A: You can wipe it with clean water and neutral detergent, remove the stains and dry it, avoid using strong solvents such as gasoline (which may damage the webbing fibers); when storing, make sure the webbing is dry to avoid long-term pressure on the folded part and cause deformation.
Q3: How to judge whether it is overloaded? What are the hazards of long-term overloading?
A: Each strapping belt is marked with a rated load (such as "breaking strength 2000kg, safe working load 500kg"), and the actual load must not exceed the safe working load. Long-term overloading will cause fatigue of the webbing fibers and wear of the ratchet mechanism, which may suddenly break, causing damage to the goods or safety accidents.
Q3: If the webbing is partially fuzzed or slightly worn, can it still be used?
A: If only the surface is fuzzed, there is no fiber breakage, and the wear range does not exceed 1/5 of the width of the webbing, it can be used for light load bundling (such as clothing, cartons); if it is accompanied by obvious tearing, thinning of the webbing or deformation of the hook, it must be replaced immediately and cannot be used again.
