Round Sling is a tubular ring sling made of high-strength synthetic fibers (such as polyester), with parallel fiber bundles inside and wear-resistant sleeves wrapped outside. It has a compact structure, a circular cross-section, high strength and flexibility, and a wide range of rated loads. It is characterized by uniform force, anti-twisting, adaptability to multi-angle lifting, good protection of the surface of the hoisted object, and no risk of scratches. Flexibility and adaptability: The circular cross-section can be bent 360°, easily wrapping or hanging irregular workpieces, adapting to curved surfaces, pipes, special-shaped components, etc., and the bending radius is small, reducing the extrusion of the suspended objects.
Safety performance: There is obvious elongation (about 15%-20%) before breaking as a warning, no conductive, no spark risk, suitable for explosion-proof and live environments; acid and alkali resistant, UV resistant (some materials), adaptable to complex working conditions.

A: No. The sleeve is the key to protecting the inner core. The exposed fiber bundle is susceptible to wear and pollution, which may cause a sudden drop in local strength and a risk of breakage. It needs to be replaced immediately.
Q3: Does the sling twist during hoisting affect safety?
A: It will. Twisting will cause uneven force on the internal fiber bundle and local overload. Long-term torsion may accelerate fatigue fracture. Before hoisting, ensure that the sling falls naturally without entanglement. If necessary, use a rotating connector to offset the torsional force.
Q3: How to choose the material of the round sling?
A: Polyester is suitable for most scenarios, with high strength and good temperature resistance (≤100℃); polypropylene has better acid and alkali resistance, but poor temperature resistance (≤80℃), suitable for chemical environment; aramid material is resistant to high temperature (≤200℃ or above), suitable for high-temperature workpiece hoisting (additional protection is required).
Q3: What is the relationship between the rated load of the round sling and the hoisting angle?
A: The smaller the angle (the closer to horizontal), the lower the safe load. For example, vertical lifting (90°) can withstand the rated load, which is about 86% of the rated value at 60°, about 70% at 45°, and only 50% at 30°. The actual load needs to be adjusted according to the angle to avoid overloading.
Q3: How to extend the service life of the round sling?
A: Avoid dragging (to prevent the sleeve from being worn), keep away from high temperatures and sharp objects; clean with clean water after use and dry in a cool place; retract when storing to avoid squeezing and exposure; regularly check whether the sleeve is damaged and whether the inner core has abnormal protrusions.
