EYE EYE WEBBING SLING is a flat sling made of high-strength synthetic fibers (such as polyester and polypropylene) through weaving. The two ends are folded back and stitched to form a ring-shaped "eye-shaped" joint.
It is light and soft, has uniform load-bearing capacity, can protect the surface of the hoisted object from scratches, is non-conductive and corrosion-resistant, and is safer than wire rope. It is suitable for a variety of hoisting angles (vertical, oblique, horizontal).
It is widely used in scenes such as machinery manufacturing, logistics and transportation, and construction installation. It is especially suitable for hoisting precision equipment, stainless steel products, pipes and other heavy objects that are fragile or have high surface requirements. It is a lightweight alternative to traditional metal slings.

The features of EYE EYE WEBBING SLING are safety protection, operational flexibility and environmental adaptability, which are as follows:
**Soft protection**: It is woven with synthetic fibers, has a soft texture, and has no hard friction when in contact with the object being hoisted. It can effectively protect delicate surfaces such as precision equipment, stainless steel products, and coated workpieces, and avoid common scratches and indentations of wire ropes.
**Lightweight and easy to operate**: It weighs only 1/5-1/10 of the same load wire rope, and is easy to carry and install manually, especially suitable for hoisting scenes in narrow spaces or frequent movements; the annular "eye-shaped" joints at both ends can be quickly connected to the hook and ring, and the loading and unloading efficiency is high.
**Outstanding safety performance**: There is an obvious elongation warning before breaking (usually the elongation rate reaches 10%-15%), which is convenient for timely detection of hidden dangers; it is non-conductive and does not produce sparks, and can be used in flammable and explosive environments (such as chemical workshops and oil and gas storage tank hoisting), without the risk of rust and low maintenance cost.
**Multi-angle adaptation**: Allows hoisting within the range of 0°-90° (vertical, oblique, and horizontal), and the rated load is adjusted with the angle (e.g., the load is 80% of the vertical state at 45°), adapting to the hoisting needs of different workpieces; and is UV-resistant and chemically resistant (some materials are acid- and alkali-resistant), suitable for outdoor, humid and other complex environments.
**Uniform load distribution**: The flat belt body makes the force-bearing area larger, can disperse the pressure of heavy objects, reduce local overload, and has better stability than round wire rope when hoisting long and irregular workpieces.
EYE EYE WEBBING SLING is widely used in scenarios with high requirements for lifting safety and protection of objects due to its soft protection, safety and lightness, and adaptability to multiple scenarios:
Precision equipment lifting: In the handling of precision equipment such as machine tools, instruments and meters, and medical devices, its soft texture can avoid surface scratches and paint wear, and is especially suitable for environments such as semiconductor workshops and laboratories that have strict requirements on equipment appearance and precision.
Stainless steel and non-ferrous metal processing: used for lifting stainless steel plates, aluminum alloy profiles, copper products, etc., to prevent scratches or rust on the metal surface due to friction, and suitable for the transportation and installation of finished products such as kitchen and bathroom equipment and decorative building materials.
Logistics and warehousing and loading and unloading: In the short-distance lifting of containers, cartons, and bagged goods, the lightweight design facilitates manual quick hooking, and the flat belt body can fit the surface of the goods to reduce local extrusion deformation, which is suitable for high-frequency turnover of e-commerce warehouses and port freight.
Construction and decoration engineering: When hoisting fragile building materials such as glass curtain walls, stone panels, and prefabricated wall panels, it can disperse pressure to avoid fragmentation, and its non-conductive properties can be used for the installation of small components in an electrically charged environment (such as indoor decoration of substations).
Chemical and explosion-proof scenarios: In the hoisting of oil and gas storage tanks and chemical pipelines, the characteristics of no sparks and acid and alkali corrosion resistance (some materials) can meet the explosion-proof requirements, replacing metal hoists to reduce safety hazards.
Agriculture and food industry: used for hoisting feed bags, grain bags, food processing equipment, etc., the material is hygienic (food-grade slings) and has no rust pollution, meeting industry cleaning standards.
Its multi-angle adaptability (vertical, horizontal, oblique hoisting) and wide load range (0.5-50 tons) make it a mainstream lightweight hoist to replace traditional wire ropes, especially in scenarios where the needs of "load bearing" and "protection" need to be balanced.
Q1: Is it normal for the sling to stretch slightly after use?
A: Slight stretch is normal: high-quality slings will have 1%-3% elastic stretch under rated load, which is the inherent characteristic of fiber materials and can return to their original state after unloading; if the elongation exceeds 5% (such as a sling with an original length of 10 meters stretching to more than 10.5 meters), or there are local bulges and fiber pulling, it may be caused by overload or material fatigue, and it needs to be stopped and tested immediately.
Q3: How to determine whether the sling is suitable for acidic/alkaline environment?
A: Need to choose according to the material label:
Polyester material: good acid resistance, but not strong alkali resistance (will corrode the fiber);
Polypropylene material: excellent acid and alkali resistance, suitable for strong corrosive environments such as chemical and electroplating workshops;
General slings that are not clearly marked with chemical resistance are prohibited from being used in acidic and alkaline environments to avoid material degradation and breakage.
Before use, check the material label on the sling, or consult the supplier to confirm the corrosion resistance level.
Q7: What is the effect of the lifting angle on the load? Why can't it exceed 90°?
A: The angle directly affects the safe load:
Vertical lifting (0°): can withstand the rated maximum load;
45° lifting: the safe load is reduced to 80% of the rated value;
60° lifting: the safe load is reduced to 50% of the rated value;
More than 90° (such as sharp angle lifting): the edge of the belt will be subjected to excessive local stress, which may cause fiber tearing, so the angle must be strictly controlled within the range of 0°-90°.
Q7: The surface of the sling is stained with oil or stains. How to clean and maintain it?
A: Ordinary stains: wipe gently with clean water and neutral detergent (such as soapy water), and dry in a cool place (avoid exposure to the sun to prevent fiber aging);
Oil pollution: can be removed with special fiber cleaners, and strong solvents such as gasoline and alcohol are prohibited (which will corrode the fiber);
Inspect after cleaning: make sure there is no fiber damage or loose seams, and roll up and store in a dry and ventilated place after drying to avoid contact with sharp objects.
Q5: Compared with wire ropes, does the service life of slings shorter? How to extend the service life?
A: The life span depends on the working conditions. It can be close to the wire rope under reasonable use:
Avoid dragging: The sling cannot be dragged on the ground (the surface fiber is easy to wear), and it needs to be handled with care;
Keep away from heat sources: Do not contact with high temperatures above 80℃ (polyester temperature resistance ≤100℃, polypropylene ≤80℃), and avoid welding sparks and burns;
Control load: Strictly do not exceed the rated load, and avoid overloading (overloading without obvious warning may directly break);
Regular inspection: Focus on whether the stitching is off, whether the belt body has cuts or aging (such as fiber brittleness), and replace it immediately if problems are found.
Q7: Can the sling be used to hoist objects with sharp edges?
A: Protective measures are required: Directly hoisting angular objects (such as steel and stone) will cause excessive local pressure and may cut the belt body; corner guards, wooden boards or rubber pads need to be placed at the corners to increase the contact area, disperse stress, and avoid sharp edges from damaging the fibers.
