ENDLESS WEBBING SLING (loop-shaped flat sling) is a jointless, annular synthetic fiber sling made of high-strength polyester or polypropylene fibers, and formed into a closed loop structure through integral weaving or folding stitching. It is characterized by uniform force, excellent flexibility, 360° fit to the object being hoisted, and no weak joints. It is suitable for hoisting irregular shapes, large workpieces, and scenes that require full-angle force. With its advantages of good protection performance, lightness, safety, and corrosion resistance, it is widely used in logistics, construction, shipping and other industries, and is an efficient choice to replace traditional slings.

Omnidirectional force balance: The ring-shaped jointless design eliminates stress concentration at the end, and the load can be evenly distributed along the ring body. When hoisting at any angle (0°-180°), the stability is better than that of the double-eye sling, especially suitable for the embracing hoisting of irregular workpieces.
Extreme flexibility: The ring body can completely fit the surface of the hoisted object, with a small bending radius, and can adapt to complex shapes such as curved surfaces, edges and corners (need to be matched with corner guards), reduce local extrusion damage, and protect precision or fragile workpieces.
High strength and safety redundancy: The overall weaving process makes the breaking strength higher, and there is obvious elongation (10%-20%) before breaking as a warning, and it is non-conductive and spark-free, suitable for explosion-proof and live environments.
Long life and low maintenance: Excellent wear resistance and UV resistance (some materials are acid and alkali resistant), no risk of rust, only need to wipe with water for cleaning, and can be rolled up when stored, and the maintenance cost is lower than that of metal slings.
Convenience of operation: light weight (only 1/10 of wire rope with the same load), can be quickly hung manually without complicated hooking steps, suitable for high-frequency and fast-paced lifting operations.
Large component lifting: used for the embracing lifting of large workpieces such as bridge prefabricated panels, wind turbine towers, and ship sections. The ring structure can evenly wrap the workpiece to avoid deformation caused by single-point force.
Irregular object transportation: When lifting workpieces without fixed lifting points such as pipes, tanks, and special-shaped steel structures, the ring body can be flexibly wrapped or bottom-loaded, which is suitable for the installation of chemical equipment and pressure vessels.
Bulk cargo containerization: In the group lifting of cartons, sacks, and plates, the ring sling can simultaneously hang multiple units to improve loading and unloading efficiency, which is suitable for the transfer of whole stacks of goods in warehouses and ports.
Precision and surface protection: When lifting glass, ceramics, polished metal parts, etc., the soft ring body can avoid scratches, which is suitable for scenes with high appearance requirements such as furniture manufacturing and automotive parts.
Extreme environment operation: In outdoor projects, offshore platforms and other scenes, weather resistance can cope with wind and rain, salt spray erosion; in explosion-proof workshops (such as oil and gas, chemical industry), the spark-free characteristics reduce safety hazards.
Q1: Since the ring sling has no joints, will it never break?
A: Not absolutely. If there is excessive wear (surface fiber breakage exceeds 30%), contact with high temperature (polyester>100℃, polypropylene>80℃) or long-term overload, it may still break. It is necessary to regularly check whether the ring body has cuts, aging or local thinning.
Q3: When hoisting angular objects, how to avoid the ring body from being cut?
A: Corner guards (such as rubber sleeves and metal guards) must be installed at the corners to increase the contact area and control the local pressure within a safe range; it is forbidden to directly hoist unprotected sharp corners, otherwise the fibers may be cut instantly.
Q3: Is the load and length of the ring sling related?
A: It is related. The rated load of the same specification sling decreases slightly with the increase of length (because the bending stress of the long ring body is greater). For example, the load of a 5-meter sling is usually 90% of that of a 3-meter sling. Before use, refer to the "length-load comparison table" provided by the manufacturer.
Q3: How to judge whether the ring sling has reached the scrap standard?
A: It needs to be scrapped in the following situations: the local fiber breakage of the ring body exceeds 1/2 of a single strand; the surface wear causes the thickness to decrease by more than 10%; there is irreversible deformation, hardening or chemical corrosion (such as fiber brittleness); the elongation exceeds 20% and cannot be restored after unloading.
Q3: Compared with the double-eye sling, what scenarios are the ring sling more suitable for?
A: It is more suitable for scenarios without fixed lifting points, large/irregular workpieces, and full-angle force-bearing scenarios, such as tank bottom lifting and wind turbine blade embracing lifting; while the double-eye sling is more suitable for straight workpieces with clear lifting points (such as plates and steel pipes).
